Better late than never, I always say… it’s been a little over two weeks since the kids, and I hopped in our borrowed sienna and drove 170 miles up north to stay at the KOA camping grounds, and I actually snapped a few photos that I obviously want to keep here to memories.
Yes, I took all four kids camping, all by myself. Joe decided to stay behind to catch up on some studying, so we weren’t going to stop him. But, I was for sure overwhelmed at the idea of driving with four kids, camping with four kids, taking care of f o u r kids for a few days all by myself.
But honestly, I’m SO glad I decided to do it. We stayed in the cutest little cabin with the cutest wooden bunk beds, and we were surrounded by family. It was so fun and games, no meltdowns! Our cabin was right next to the local market, so we pretty much got full of chips and ice cream, and yes, mom got rose’. There was a lot of fun things to do like go-karting and jumping on the big balloon, but our favorite part was hanging out on the front porch drinking coffee and of course, the old fashion s’ mores.
I had a ton of you message me asking what camp site we stayed at, so I decided to link it here: KOA CAMPGROUNDS IN WILLIAMS, AZ.
A special thanks to my Toyota family; for lending us their Toyota Sienna, helping us fall in love with the car, and joining us on our camping trip. We enjoyed testing driving the Sienna for a few weeks in honor of dia de los niños. We are officially convinced that we need a Sienna in the family. 🙂
