Afternoon baths, for the relaxed mind.

*Thank you Tom’s of Maine for partnering up with us on this post. As always, all opinions are my own.*

these weekly bath routines I have made a priority ever since becoming pregnant with this little babe, have been the best thing I could’ve done for myself. I’ve always talked about the importance of self-care, yet still struggled with finding the time to actually do it. “I’m just too busy”, Is basically the only excuse I have that seems to be good enough to push my favorite moments aside. I know, I know, the only one who can fight resistance is myself.

I actually think I’m getting better at making myself a priority. I mean after all, I am important. Important enough to put my needs first, to make sure I refill my cup, before I can tend to others. Once, that aha moment came to me, it’s been easier for me to shut the door from my family, without carrying that guilt of “am I neglecting them? Am I being too selfish?” Well of course not. My needs matter, my sanity, my happiness, it all matters.

Self-care can come in all forms, and the ones that speak to me the most, are the ones that truly make my heart happy. Quiet time and hygiene products. Yup, you read that right. I like to splurge on products that smell good and make me feel good too. I was recently introduced to the Creamy Coconut Body Wash from Tom’s Of Maine, and immediately became addicted.

  1. They are an all natural product line
  2. They don’t test on animals
  3. They give 10% of its profits back to
    helping people and the planet.

Not very many companies out there take time to really research the ingredients they put into their products, and I just love how for over 48 years, Tom’s Of Maine has been developing natural personal care products with a
focus on natural, responsible and sustainable practices.

With some of my favorite all natural ingredients being in their body wash, like virgin coconut oil, raw shea butter, and Moroccan argan oil. Their body wash has left my skin feel so gentle and smooth throughout my sometimes long days.

In order to feel good, you have to have the right products, and when you feel good, you tend to have a good day. Am I right?
