Indian spiced steak w/ smashes potatoes recipe

spiced indian steak recipe

I’m so proud of myself for experimenting and familiarizing myself with different recipes and getting comfortable with adding more to our daily menu. In fact, just yesterday I made Indian spiced steak with Crispy parmesan potatoes, and it was fabulous! It was so good that Joe asked for it to be on the menu more often. Talk about a huge win, right? Thanks to the launch of Ayesha Curry Home Collection that is available at JCPenney in-stores and online and her delicious recipes. I’m so inspired by her Contemporary home collection items, that I want to spend more time in the kitchen coming up with family recipes that I know everyone will love.

One of the biggest compliments my family can give me is definitely when it comes to my homemade cooking. I spend so much time prepping and planning, and when it turns out to be a dud, it’s the worst ever.  I may not be a chef or the most creative in the kitchen, but it brings me so much joy to my heart knowing that I am the one “in charge” of our everyday food, and I enjoy cooking.

It took me a while to find a love for cooking, but in all honesty, my passion for homemade meals came when I started focusing on my kitchen and trying to make it a cozy and inviting space. Majority of that took a while to build up. Like hanging up some cute vintage thrift store finds, collecting old china, and revamping my pots and pans to a fun color, like the ones I purchased here. Also, hoarding kitchen utensils have become a big problem for me, because you can never have too many kitchen tools. Am I right? I’m always buying something new for my kitchen so It still has that homey touch, and you can never forget about fresh flowers. Those are a must. Always.

I wanted to share with you Ayesha Curry’s Indian spiced steak with Crispy smashed potatoes recipe that she made for JCPenney, because it was such a hit with our house, and #SoWorthIt. I’m hoping it’s the same for you as well.

Ok, so obviously my food doesn’t look as good as Ayesha’s! But, you get the picture 😉

JCPenney offers a variety of high-quality, stylish pieces for homemakers like myself, at a great

value, too. If you are looking to spice up your home with affordable and adorable products, make sure to shop the Ayesha Curry newest home collection. I picked up the 12-qt. Covered Stockpot, and adorable Silicone Spatula Set, along with the 10″ Open Skillet.
