My Journey To A Healthy Lifestyle

I have been so excited to start this journey for a while, and just couldn’t wait any longer to share with all of you about my new lifestyle change! So, many of you already know my freaky obsession with everything chocolate, and about 90% of the food I consume is very unhealthy. I have never been one to “diet,” simply because I have no clue on how to.

The hardest part for me is finding foods that are actually healthy and good for you and the most obvious, portion control. I could seriously eat a big bowl of salad, and think because It’s healthy I’m ok to eat it. which obviously doesn’t do me any good because like I said, portion control.

When I have eaten healthy in the past, I have woken up feeling great. So, now a mother of 3 that’s exactly how I want to feel every day. No more 3 cups of coffee a day (Seriously, I want my natural energy again). Plus, whoever said the extra baby weight I have gained from Xander is here to stay. I’m so excited to start my two month Jenny Craig program.


I’m more excited about this diet than any other diet I have ever tried because of how supportive Jenny Craig has been from the very start. I have a personal Jenny Craig weight loss consultant named Tracy. She will be there to guide me week by week for my entire journey and will help me stay motivated and keep me right on track. I was scared to cut my bad eating habits cold turkey because that is me basically setting myself up for disappointment, but one great thing about Jenny Craig is you can still lose weight and eat your cake too! They have over 100 menu items, and YES they have chocolate items that I can eat every single day! They provided me a personalized menu that fits my lifestyle. Because I’m still nursing Xander, I need to eat a little more calories, and I am not complaining.

The next few months, I know will not be easy, I just can’t wait to wake up and feel great again. I owe this to myself and my family, to be as healthy as I can be and I’m confident that Tracy will be the perfect person to push me through the next couple of months.
